Doubting Thomas

The Gospel reading for April 11, 2010 is John 20:19-31. This passage of scripture is often referred to as the story of doubting Thomas. Thomas is quoted in verse 25 as saying, "Unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands, and put my finger in the mark of the nails and my hand in his side, I will not believe." (NRSV)

Today as I prepare for worship on the morrow, I am reflecting on what it means to doubt. As part of this preparation, I found a really nice song by Nickel Creek. The song is "Doubting Thomas" and I am embedding a video of the song at the end of this post.
